  Do not use this service - scammers. I decided to exchange crypto on this service. But after the payment, they informed me that the money was blocked and I needed to go through verification, while indicating that the money would not be returned without verification. I passed verification on other exchanges, but I have not seen this yet:
  To credit the transaction, you must provide the following information by mail:
  1. Proof of origin of funds.
  2. Photo of one of these documents (passport, ID-card or driver's license).
  3. Selfie with this document and a handwritten sheet with today's date and the name of our exchange "WhiteBIT".
  4. Video verification with a duration of at least 10 seconds, in good quality.
  Video requirements:
  you should be clearly visible in the frame with a white sheet of paper on which today's date and the name of our exchange “WhiteBIT” are written by hand; and other moments
  5. Also, in order to confirm the origin of funds, we ask you to answer the following questions in writing:

  Through which platform did the funds come to you? If possible, please provide screenshots of the sender's wallet/platform withdrawal history, as well as links to both transactions in the explorer.
  How did you receive these funds?
  What was the amount of the transaction, as well as the date and time of its execution?
  Through which contact person did you communicate with the sender of funds? If possible, please provide screenshots of the correspondence with the sender, where we can see the confirmation of sending funds.

    AML audit
    The Compliance Officer is responsible for conducting AML/CFT audit at least annually. Other audit demands are set in internal policies and procedures.
    
    We apply due diligence measures, in particular
    upon establishment of a business relationship;
    upon verification of information gathered while applying due diligence measures or in the case of doubts as to the sufficiency or truthfulness of the documents or data gathered earlier while updating the relevant data;
    upon suspicion of money laundering or terrorist financing;
    in some other cases, including in other exact cases prescribed by law and in cases of identifying “red flags” in accordance to internal procedures.
    Preservation of data
    We retain the originals or copies of the documents, which serve as the basis for identification and verification of persons, and the documents serving as the basis for the establishment of a business relationship no less than five years after termination of the business relationship.
    
    We retain the documents prepared with regard to a transaction on any data medium and the documents and data serving as the basis for the notification obligations for no less than five years after making the transaction or performing the duty to report.
